About Homes for Paws Dog Rescue
Located in Ottawa, Ontario, Homes for Paws is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit, dog rescue dedicated to rescuing dogs and giving them a second chance at a new life. Our goal is to place the dogs we rescue into loving forever homes. We do not have a shelter, all dogs stay in our care until an adoption match is found.

The adoption fee is non negotiable and non refundable.

As a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that receives no government funding, Homes for Paws (HFP) relies entirely on the support of friends in the community to sustain its operations and programs. The dogs thank you from the bottom of their hearts for your generosity!
Donating
As a not-for-profit organization receiving no public funding, we rely on your generous donations to provide for our dogs and their volunteer foster families. All the funds collected go directly to care for the dogs.
Volunteering
Volunteers provide essential support to our rescue by contributing time and effort to the care and promotion of our services, and in doing so help find loving homes for our dogs.
Sponsoring a dog
Many of our rescued dogs need special care, such as surgeries or other extensive medical treatment. We rely completely on donations of dog lovers to ensure they receive the best care until they find the perfect forever home.
